About Madeleine Darbyshire

Madeline is passionate about using AI to address the most urgent issues facing agriculture today. She is nearing completion of a PhD specialising in machine vision technologies for precision weed management systems. In her research, she focused on using machine learning to recognise weeds in the field so that interventions could be better targeted, lowering input costs and minimising environmental harm.

Having recently joined the team as a machine learning engineer, Madeleine applies her AI and machine learning expertise to design novel solutions for crop monitoring and disease detection.
